Cape Town - Manchester United fans can breathe a sigh of relief after David De Gea's agent said the goalkeeper will sign a new deal.
The Daily Mail report that David De Gea will extend is stay at Old Trafford with the player happy to remain with the English Premiership giants.
De Gea's agent, Jorge Mendes, told the BBC that his client - and Real Madrid target - will recommit his future to the Manchester club.
Mendes, who represents the likes of Jose Mourinho, Luiz Felipe Scolari, Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez, said: "He has one year left on his contract and I think that he will stay in Manchester,"
"The player will decide, but he's happy there, at the moment."
The 24-year-old Spanish international has one year left on his current deal after signing from Atletico Madrid for £17.8 million in 2011.
