Cape Town - Kevin De Bruyne's agent has revealed he has held preliminary talks with Manchester City over a possible transfer in the off-season.
One of the most highly-rated young players in world football, De Bruyne has enjoyed an exceptional campaign at Wolfsburg this campaign and has attracted the attention of some of European football's biggest clubs.
The player's agent, Patrick De Koster, has remained coy on a potential transfer for the 23-year-old former Chelsea man and stayed true to form when quizzed on the possibility of an off-season move, before confirming contact with the English champions.
"For the moment, there are no formal discussions," De Koster is quoted as saying by the Daily and Sunday Express.
"Of course in the next few weeks I will be going around the world to talk about the situation with Kevin but this is just informal information.
"I will talk to everybody but Kevin is very, very happy with Wolfsburg and the way they have treated him since he arrived from Chelsea last year.
"I have met the people from Manchester City and we know each other.
"I’ve never spoken to anyone from Manchester United but a lot of other clubs have been in touch to find out some general information."
