David Beckham back in red - PIC

Cape Town - Arguably Manchester United's most famous number 7, David Beckham has shown off his new 2051/16 adidas Manchester United shirt.

adidas took over as Manchester United's kit supplier after a 23 year absence on August 1 and the new manufacturers sent the US-based former professional footballer his own personalised shirt.

Beckham spent 12 seasons at United before a high-profile switch to Real Madrid in July 2003.

The former England international captain also spent time at MLS side LA Galaxy, PSG and AC Milan.
