Cape Town - Juan Guillermo Cuadrado's dream move to Barcelona may be off after his agent revealed that talks have been ended between the club and himself.
Manchester United are interested in joining the race to sign Colombian Soccer World Cup star Juan Guillermo Cuadrado after learning that Barcelona's negotiations with the player's representatives have stalled.
According to the Daily Mail, the Catalan giants are still leading the race to sign Fiorentina star Cuadrado but negotiations are not progressing smoothly.
After taking a leading role in Colombia's World Cup campaign, Cuadrado has been linked with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
Fiorentina's Sporting director Daniele Prade slapped a £39.5 million price tag on the winger which initially only Barcelona were interested in matching.
With just one month left in the summer window, the player's agent confirmed that he was no longer in talks with Barcelona.
"I’ve been in direct contact with Barcelona and with other clubs. They showed interest but now there are no negotiations in place, not with Barcelona or any other clubs." said Cuadrado's agent.
Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing the winger after failing to land other transfer targets.
