Could Yaya leave City?

Cape Town - Yaya Toure is undecided on whether he will be a Manchester City player next season following indifference's with the club.

On the 13 May when the midfielder celebrated his 31st Birthday the club failed to wish him and responded with a tweet stating, “Thanks for the all the birthday messages today. Card from City just arrived... Must have got lost in the post. Haha”

And then followed that tweet with saying, “Jokes aside. Please do not take words that do not come out of MY mouth seriously. Judge my commitment to @MCFC by my performances.”

Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk, was quoted saying to the Daily Sun, "They don't know that money can't buy relationships - no Sheikh can buy a relationship. This isn't about money or a new contract - it's about human relationships and City have shown they don't respect him. I repeat this is not about money. In fact, he would take less to return to Barcelona."

The Ivorian said that he will make a decision after the SWC.

The Toure brothers were informed by the death of their youngest brother Ibrahim Toure after Cote d’Ivoire lost 2-1 to Colombia.

In his latest France Football column the midfielder accused City of ignoring his request to spend some time with his brother who had cancer. “At the end of the season, I wanted to stay for four or five days with my brother before I flew to prepare for the World Cup with Ivory Coast. Except that City did not want to give me a few days.”

Instead the player had to join the squad in Abu Dhab to celebrate Manchester City’s Premier League title.

The player also cleared the air on comments made by his agent saying that Seluk speaks for him and will explain everything in an interview after the SWC.
