City only led for 15 days!

Cape Town - Newly crowned English champions Manchester City amazingly only led the English Premiership for 15 days during the entire season.

Final standings in the 2013/14 English Premiership

Goals from Samir Nasri and skipper Vincent Kompany helped City to a 2-0 win over West Ham and claim their second league title in three seasons.

City though timed their run to the title just right, with statistics released on Monday indicating that fourth-placed Arsenal spent the bulk of the season atop the standings.

According to the Premier League's official Twitter account, the Gunners amazingly led for 128 days during the season, third-placed Chelsea 64 days, second-placed Liverpool 59 days, while the eventual champions only spent 15 days at the summit!
