City coy on Mangala move

Cape Town - The champions of England have not yet completed the signing of French defender Eliaquim Mangala and boss Manuel Pellegrini is refusing to add to the speculation surrounding the deal.

City have longed been linked with Porto centre back but the deal is not done according to Pelligrini.

Pellegrini is keeping any news on the potential transfer of Mangala to himself after the Manchester Evening News quoted the manager as saying "I think it's important not to talk about things that are not 100 per cent, so I'll keep my opinion about that,".

The Sky Blues were desperately close to signing the player in January with pictures of the defender at Manchester's Bridgewater Hospital surfacing as well as video on the club's website.

City denied any involvement with that video.
