Chelsea to lose junior Hazard

Cape Town - Thorgan Hazard is open to the idea of giving up on his fledgling Chelsea career amid an option to remain in the Bundesliga.

The Daily Mail report that Eden Hazard's younger brother may leave Chelsea permanently following a loan spell away from the club.

The 21-year-old midfielder is on at Bundesliga side, Borussia Monchengladbach, and admits that staying on with the German club is an option.

"It's an option to stay at Gladbach longer. But it's just too early to talk about it now," Hazard told reporters.

"The decision will be made towards the end of the season. I feel great here."

Hazard's current loan spell is the second such period away from Chelsea since joining the club from Ligue 1, Lens, in July 2012.

Hazard has represented Belgium in every age group level including the senior national team.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
