Cape Town - Inter Milan's contract rebel Mauro Icardi is being tipped for a summer move to Chelsea according to reports.
Jose Mourinho is looking to add another striker to his squad and has identified Icardi has his main target, according to the London Evening Standard.
The 21-year-old has been in fine form this season, netting 13 goals in 22 Serie A matches this season but is unwilling to lower his wage demands as contract talks with Inter Milan continue to stall.
Chelsea reportedly sent scouts to Italy to watch Icardi against Palermo, where the Argentina star scored a brace.
Inter Milan will not be too quick to offload the star as he contract runs until the summer of 2018.
Icardi reportedly earns just £11,000-a-week plus bonuses and is looking for a deal worth four times that if he is to be tempted into resisting the urge to play under Mourinho at Chelsea.
