Chelsea explore Wembley option

Cape Town - Chelsea have made an offer to use England's national football stadium while Stamford Bridge undergoes construction.

The Times report that the Premier League champions have offered £11 million a year to use Wembley Stadium.

In terms of Chelsea's offer, Jose Mourinho's  side would make Wembley their home for three seasons beginning from 2017-18 campaign.

Stamford Bridge and the home of English football are just 8.4 miles apart.

Tottenham Hotspur will be keeping a close eye on this development as they look to renovate and upgrade White Hart Lane in the coming years.
