Cape Town - Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is expected to undergo his Arsenal medical today, according to reports.
Sky Sports report that Cech's medical was brought forward from next week to Friday.
The Czech goalkeeper has one year left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge but is expected to be unveiled as a Gunner as soon as today.
Cech has grown frustrated playing backup to Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich reluctantly agreed to let Cech leave for a rival club - as a goodwill gesture following his 11 years of loyal service to the Blues.
Chelsea are also expected to lose goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon, who is tipped to follow Cech to his new club.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper is expected to cost Arsenal £10.9 million.
