Busquets to snub EPL

Cape Town - Spanish international midfielder Sergio Busquets will not let English Premiership interest distract him from his Barcelona career.

A new deal for Busquets is Barcelona coach Luis Enrique's top priority, according to the Daily Star.

Amidst reported interest from a trio of English Premiership sides, Barcelona are eager to to secure Busquets future at the Nou Camp.

The 26-year-old Spain star has become a regular first team player at the club and has attracted the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United according to reports in Spain.

Following his debut in 2008, the Barcelona academy graduate has done remarkably well to rise from budding youngster to 74-time Spain international and Yaya Toure replacement.

Barcelona have earmarked the midfielder as a key to their progression and will offer their star a new deal to ward off any thoughts of a bid from England's leading clubs.
