Bebe can return a star

Cape Town - Benfica coach Jorge Jesus believes Manchester United flop Bebe can return to England as a star.

The Daily Mail report that Bebe could return to the English Premiership and fulfill his potential.

Bebe was contraversially signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2010 but the Portugal forward was unable to stamp his mark on the game during his time at Old Trafford.

Benfica finally ended Bebe's horrible time in England earlier this season and new coach Jorge Jesus still believes in Bebe's ability.

Jesus likened Bebe's quality to other stars that have spent time playing at Benfica including Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.

"‘Tiago (Bebe) never experienced youth development. He was introduced to football late and he lost a lot of time in England." said Jesus.

"Tiago’s development will be equal to Talisca’s, Matic’s and Andre Gomes. They were all late bloomers.’

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
