Barcelona - Spanish champions Barcelona have set their sights on Fernando Torres from Liverpool, according to a report on Monday in Catalan daily Sport.
Sport said that new Barca president Sandro Rosell will offer Liverpool around 45 million euros for Torres striker, but that Liverpool will not contemplate selling him for less than 60 million euros.
Torres, 26, joined Liverpool from Atletico Madrid in 2007 and is currently playing for Spain at the World Cup.
In order to accommodate him, Barca would need to sell off Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Four weeks ago Barca signed David Villa, who frequently partners Torres in the Spain attack, from Valencia for 40 million euros.
Mundo Deportivo, Sport's rival, said that "priority number one" for Rosell is not Torres but Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, who is also currently playing for Spain in South Africa.
