Balotelli to make Greek escape?

Cape Town - Mario Balotelli has been offered a way out of his Anfield nightmare by Greek club side Olympiakos, who want to bring the striker to the club on loan.

The Express report that the Greek giants want to bring the Italian international striker to Greece until the end of the season.

Balotelli has struggled in the English Premiership since arriving from Italy in a £16 million deal.

The Italian striker has yet to find the back of the net in the domestic league for Liverpool and is progress has been hampered by persistent injury problems.

While Tuttomercatoweb report this shock move, any possible move away from Merseyside will depend on the fitness prospects of Daniel Sturridge, the exit of Fabio Borini and whether Lille and Liverpool can reach an angreement on Divock Origi's start date at Anfield.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
