Baggies deserve to be 16th

Cape Town - Tony Pulis and his West Bromwich Albion side host Swansea City on Wednesday’s in a a crucial English Premiership encounter and manager Tony Pulis says his side deserve to be where they are on the league table.

The Baggies are 16th on the table and sit uncomfortably just one point above the relegation zone.

Swansea are struggling for form in the league after the sale of Wilfried Bony and will be without the services of influential midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, who is serving a suspension.

“West Brom should be where they are. You deserve to be where you are, that’s the logic of it." said Pulis, according to the Birmingham Mail.

"What we have to do it try and improve it.

“Looking at the table and it’s going to be a tough call for us and everybody down there. We have to stick in there, win lose or draw. Every game you have to be on it.

“I’ve been in this situation quite a few times over the years and the most important thing is focusing on what you’re doing as a football club and not looking at the TV."

Swansea beat West Brom 1-0 when they hosted the Baggies at the Liberty Stadium earlier this season.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
