Bafana star leaves Fulham

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi has completed a £600 000 transfer from English Premiership club Fulham to Championship side Crystal Palace.

Sky News reports that Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has confirmed that the midfielder is set to sign a permanent contract at Selhurst Park.

Freedman told The Advertiser that the former Golden Arrows player was a good signing for the club. "KG will sign on a permanent deal. He's my kind of player and I've persuaded the chairman to buy him,” said Freedman.

"At only 26 he is only going to get better with more games and I see it as a good investment for the football club. He wants to come here and play and I am only interested in players who are keen to play for Crystal Palace  and will make us a better side."

Dikgacoi joined Fulham in August 2009 but failed to nail down a first team place in the side and was loaned to Palace in February this year.
