Cape Town - Colombian Carlos Bacca is being tipped for a move to Arsenal as a replacement for injured French striker Oliver Giroud.
Despite Arsene Wenger denying that he will move for a striker before the transfer window closes, it looks increasingly likely that Carlos Bacca will join Arsenal before the 23:00 September 1 deadline.
Metro report that Arsenal will make a £12.5 million bid for Bacca.
After seeing Yaya Sanago fail to lead the line effectively against Leicester, Arsene Wenger looks forced into moving for Bacca as a replacement for the injured Olivier Giroud.
Reports in Colombia and England both suggest that the Emirates is the likely destination for Bacca.
The 27-year-old Sevilla forward scored 21 goals in 52 matches last season.
