Arsenal leading the way in 'new Ribery' chase

Cape Town - Arsenal are leading the pack in the chase for Benfica's 17-year-old ace, Goncalo Guedes.

The Daily Express report that Goncalo Guedes, dubbed "the new Franck Ribery" is a top target for Arsene Wenger.

Despite not having represented Benfica at first team level, the talented starlet is being tracked by a number of leading clubs including Bayern Munich.

Arsenal are reportedly frontrunners to land Guedes with the player preferring a move to the English Premiership over the Bundesliga.

O Jogo, a leading Portuguese newspaper, report that the Arsenal boss is fairly certain that his club can lure the in-demand attack-minded player.
