Andy Cole's tribute to Lucas Radebe

Cape Town - Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole has praised South African football legend Lucas Radebe in his "Throwback Thursday" post on social media site Instagram.

In October last year, British newspaper - the Daily Telegraph - released its list of the "Premier League's 100 greatest ever players" and included Lucas Radebe in the list at number 78. (Read that story HERE!)

Now Cole - who scored 121 goals in 275 appearances for the Red Devils - has paid tribute to the former Bafana Bafana captain.

Cole described Radebe as "one of the toughest centre-backs to play against!"

The post on Instagram is proving to be popular among Cole's followers with several comments praising the retired duo.
