Cape Town - Barcelona right-back Dani Alves has confirmed that he will be playing in England after his contract at the Camp Nou expires at the end of the season.
Barca head coach Luis Enrique announced at the start of the new campaign that this would be the Brazil international's last year at the club.
The 32-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Catalan outfit for several seasons now and is finally set to bring his seven-year spell to an end.
Alves has now revealed that he will be playing in the Premier League next term although the exact club he intends to join remains a mystery.
"I am moving to England next year," he told Brazilian newspaper O Globo.
"I am going to play in the home of football. This will be my last year at Barcelona."
Since joining the Blaugrana from Sevilla in 2008, Alves has made over 300 appearances for the club and has won four La Liga titles and the UEFA Champions League on two occasions.
