Aguero rescues City a point

London - Two goals from Sergio Aguero earned Manchester City a point in a 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in the Premier League on Saturday.

Charlie Austin had two goals ruled out before giving QPR the lead in the 21st minute, receiving a pass from Maurcio Isla before lashing the ball beyond Joe Hart.

But City stepped up their intensity immediately, and levelled 11 minutes later.

Aguero controlled a long pass from Eliaquim Mangala superbly and weaved into space before beating QPR goalkeeper Robert Green. The ball hit Aguero's arm as he kept it under control, but the goal stood.

Martin Demichelis then diverted a header into his own net on 76 from Austin's swerving delivery, before Aguero rescued City with another superb finish on 83.
