Agent rules out Januzaj exit

Cape Town - Adnan Januzaj's agent has dispelled rumours that the Manchester United winger is set for a reunion with David Moyes at Real Sociedad.

The Belgium international enjoyed a productive spell under former Red Devils boss Moyes at Old Trafford, scoring four goals in 27 Premier League appearances during the 2013/14 campaign.

However, Januzaj struggled for game time this past season, playing just 18 times in the league for Louis van Gaal's side and failing to find the back of the net as his progress seemed to take a step backwards.

Sociedad, who appointed Moyes to the helm during the 2014 off-season, have been linked with a move for 20-year-old, but his advisor, Dirk De Vriese, denied speculation that the prodigious talent will be heading to Spain in the near future.

De Vriese insisted Januzaj has a future at United and that he is determined to etch his name into the club's history.

"This is total nonsense," the agent told Sport Witness.

"Januzaj Adnan is feeling good at Manchester United and they don't want him to leave the club.

"He is considered still as their biggest talent since many years.

"There was a lot of top teams asking to buy him and a lot of sub-top teams to loan him but he will stay at Manchester United to become a legend in the club."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
