The Daily Star report that Petr Cech may be offered an escape route as AC Milan eye a move for the Czech shot-stopper.

The Serie A club are ready to go head to head with Arsenal for Chelsea's £7 million-rated goalkeeper Cech.

Both clubs are reportedly interested in the a January move for the talented 32-year-old star.

Milan will be hoping to make use of their good relationship with the Blues in order to beat Arsenal to experienced goalkeeper's signature.

Cech will no doubt demand first-team football from any prospective club which may prove a stumbling block to any Milan bid.

The Rossoneri signed Diego Lopez from Real Madrid in the summer and may not be able to offer Cech the kind of assurance he desires.
