Here are the FIVE things you need to know about the new Red Devil:

1. HE SCORES GOALS

The 21-year-old star has scored 21 league goals for PSV this season - making him the league's highest scorer.

Depay has scored 27 goals in 38 fixtures in total this season.

3. UNITED HAVE A GOOD HISTORY WITH PSV 

The last time Manchester United signed a player from PSV was in 2001.

The player? Ruud Van Nistelrooy. He scored 95 goals in 150 appearances for the Red Devils.

Depay joins the likes of Park Ji-Sung, Jaap Stam and Van Nistelrooy of player who have moved to Old Trafford from PSV - all had plenty of success in their time at the club.

4. HE IS SOMETHING OF A PRODIGY

At the 2014 Soccer World Cup, the then 20-year-old scored the Dutch's winner over Australia.

The significance? The goal earned Depay as the title of the youngest ever to player to score a World Cup goal. Depay also scored against Brazil later in the tournament.

5. HE'S CLOSE WITH LOUIS VAN GAAL

The 10th Dutchman to play for Manchester United has a bond with the manager which has been well publicised.
