Durban to host Telkom final

Johannesburg - The Telkom Knockout final will be played in Durban for the second year in succession, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) announced on Wednesday.

Mamelodi Sundowns would face Bloemfontein Celtic on December 1 at Moses Mabhida Stadium, the league confirmed.

Orlando Pirates defeated Wits 3-1 to lift the title at the 2010 FIFA World Cup venue last season.

"I'm happy to announce that we have decided to take this final to Durban," acting PSL CEO Cambridge Mokanyane said in a statement.

Sundowns were drawn as the home team, giving them first preference on the training times at the stadium on the eve of the match, playing colours and change rooms at the stadium.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
