Chiefs-Pirates final sold out

Johannesburg - The last of the MTN8 Final tickets were snapped up on Thursday morning as fans heeded the call to get their tickets early for the eagerly anticipated clash between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs at Soccer City on Saturday.

“This is great news,” said PSL CEO, Zola Majavu.

“From an organisational point of view, we are ready from our side and expect a great final,” Majavu added.

Tournament sponsors, MTN also expressed their delight at the sold out signs.

“For the first time in MTN8 Final history, two of the biggest teams in South Africa will be playing in the final of the richest cup competition on the continent. MTN would like to congratulate all football supporters who purchased their tickets early.  As MTN, we will ensure that everyone has a fantastic experience in the grand finale," said Desiree Pooe, Senior Manager: Sponsorship and Events at MTN SA.

"There will be many family activities on offer such as the Yello Dome and special competitions where fans can win fantastic prizes,” added Pooe.

There are still hospitality tickets available and these can be purchased directly through the stadium.

Fans wanting to purchase parking tickets can do so through Computicket at a cost of R10.

There will also be dedicated trains running before and after the match for fans wanting to make use of this. Details of the train schedule can be found on www.psl.co.za

Kick off is at 20h15 and gates open at 16h00.
