According to the AP website, authorities say the detained fans threw objects at police officers trying to keep order as large groups of rowdy supporters gathered in Barcelona late on Tuesday night.

Police say one officer sustained minor injuries.

In a separate incident, Spanish media showed a video of English fans pushing a tourist who was trying to take a photo into a fountain. Fans laughed as the tourist went into the water.

The winner of the two-leg tie will face the winner of the other semi-final between Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur. Ajax won the first-leg 1-0 in London on Tuesday.
