Keeping Neymar quiet key for Bayern - Heynckes

Cape Town - Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes says his players will need to work together as a unit to stop Neymar when they host Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Die Roten were thrashed 3-0 the last time they faced PSG in October for a UEFA Champions League group game and will be determined to avenge that defeat at the Allianz Arena.

Heynckes believes in order to beat PSG his side must negate the talents of Neymar in the same way they kept Lionel Messi and co quiet against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals in 2013 - when they dominated the Catalans in a 7-0 aggregate victory.

"It's only possible collectively," he told a press conference. "I know Neymar very well because I've often watched Barcelona in recent years.

"He's a player who dribbles, he's dangerous, creative and likes to get involved in the game.

"We'll try to solve these things as a collective. It wasn't easy against Messi and [Andres] Iniesta in 2013, either. But these are just human beings. And our strikers aren't that bad; the opposing defence must also think about how to cope with that."
