Turkey's Cakir to referee final

Paris - Turkey's Cuneyt Cakir will referee the Champions League final between Barcelona and Juventus on June 6 in Berlin, UEFA announced on Monday.

The 38-year-old, who has been an international referee since 2006 and officiated at Euro 2012, has experience of major Champions League games having been in charge of the 2012 semi-final second leg clash between Barcelona and Chelsea in which he sent off the English side's John Terry.

The Europa League final on May 27 in Warsaw between Ukrainian outfit Dnipro and holders Sevilla of Spain will have 44-year-old Englishman Martin Atkinson in charge.
