Hart praises character

Cape Town - Manchester City shot-stopper Joe Hart was delighted with his side's team spirit as they progress into the Champions League knockout stage.

City beat Roma 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico to join Bayern Munich in the next round of the prestigious European club competition.

The English goalkeeper said that his teammates knew that they were a strong unit and believed in a positive outcome, according to the Manchester Evening News.

"We've got resolve, we've got character and we've got great players.

"Add that all together and you have a chance.

"It was a great performance and we're moving in the right direction. We've won five or six games on the spin now and we've really stepped it up." Hart told Sky Sports 5.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
