Cape Town - PSG forward Angel Di Maria has taken another dig at his former club Manchester United, according to the Mirror.
PSG snapped up Di Maria for a deal in the region of £44 million in the recently closed summer transfer window just a season after the Argentina star joined the Premier League club in a British transfer record of £59.7 million.
"Last season was difficult for me," Di Maria told French newspaper Le Parisien.
"I didn't play much and it was tough to watch the Champions League on television after winning it with Real Madrid."
Di Maria also revealed when his exit from the Theatre of Dreams started to become a reality.
"After the end of the Premier League, I went to the Copa America," Di Maria continued.
"It was at that moment that I started to see that the possibility of joining PSG was real."
The former Real Madrid star confirmed the speculation that only UEFA'S FFP rules prevented his move in 2014.
"But even last year, before joining Manchester, I could have signed for Paris. It didn't happen for reasons you already know [Financial Fair Play restrictions on PSG].
"But I believe it was my destiny to end up at Paris."
