Nodada over the moon with Bafana call-up

Cape Town - Cape Town City midfielder Thabo Nodada is over the moon after receiving his first Bafana Bafana call-up ahead of back-to-back matches with Seychelles.

The 25-year-old is part of Stuart Baxter's squad that will play the two matches against the Islanders in the 2019 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

He revealed that the call-up, that came a few days after helping the Citizens clinch the MTN8 trophy, is a moment he will cherish for the rest of his career.

“I am overwhelmed, I am so excited,” Nodada said, as quoted by KickOff website.

“To win the cup in front of people from home, it feels so special. And a few days later now I receive a national team call, it's a long-time life dream.

“I just can't wait to join the team and feel the experience of playing for the national team.”
