Cape Town - Zhejiang Greentown and Bafana Bafana striker Dino Ndlovu says he is happy to have scored 19 goals this season in China but is disappointed his team weren't promoted.
Ndlovu smashed home that total in just 24 matches in the Chinese second tier however Greentown finished in third position and missed out on promotion to the top flight.
The 28-year-old, who saw game-time in the Nelson Mandela Challenge for Bafana against Paraguay last Tuesday, said: "My season is over man. My season is over. I don't have any ambitions anymore (this season).
"I've accomplished [things] early this year in China. In 30 games I only played 24 matches and I scored 19 goals, and that for me is a good achievement.
"I hoped and wished I could have helped the team to be promoted into the Super League, but we really disappointed ourselves in our last game. We lost 2-1 and we couldn't go to the Super League.
"What's next for me now is to go on holiday with my family."
Ndlovu has had a remarkable rise in his career as he struggled initially with the likes of Mpumalanga Black Aces and SuperSport United before doing well with Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus, where he hit 17 in 32.
From there he was snapped up by Azerbaijan side Qarabag where he won the league and cup, going on to play in the UEFA Champions League. His form later won him a big-money move to his current side.
