Mashaba expects 'great' Cameroon tie

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba reveals that despite injury concerns to certain players he expects his players to do well against Cameroon.

South Africa face-off against the Indomitable Lions on Saturday, March 26 in the first of two AFCON 2017 qualifiers.

According to Soccer Laduma, Mashaba says that he is looking forward to a great game.

"It's an unfortunate situation but there is nothing we can do," he told the Siya crew.

"We can't be stressing ourselves with the situation which we can't control.

"That's why I have said before that in the absence of the best we have to use the rest and they have done the job before and we are looking forward to a great game against Cameroon.”
