FULL TIME: SOUTH AFRICA 1 - 2 ZAMBIA.
The referee's whistle sounds and that brings the end of a fantastic friendly between these two Southern African sides. Zambia managed to turn things around after their first half deficit as it finishes 2-1 at the Moruleng Stadium.
Manyama plays a clever pass to Tau. But the young man loses his composure and slices his strike.
A series of corners from Tau eventually results in a handball just outside the box. The set piece finds its way to Gordinho and the debutante's shot is well saved above his head by Chibwe.
Tau goes agonisingly close! He takes the ball down with his back to goal and works an angle to shoot. Chibwe does excellently at his near post to keep him out.
The crowd has been silenced in Rustenberg. Can Bafana produce some quality in the final few minutes to bring them back into this game?
GOAL, ZAMBIA, LUBINDA! 1-2: Bang bang! Zambia have the lead! A near collision between Williams and Lubinda in which the latter comes out on top to force the ball over the line.
The fresh legs of Gabuza beats his man to a ball played down the right channel. However, his cross leaves a lot to be desired.
Tau slides a through ball which Manyama strikes first time but Chibwe gets down low to his left to save. Hlanti snatches at the follow up which goes wildly into the stands.
GOAL, ZAMBIA, MWILA! 1-1: What a strike! Mwila beats his man by cutting in onto his left foot and unleashes a shot which thunders past Williams via the post. Game on.
The prolific striker, Gabuza, is thrown on by Baxter in a straight swap for Erasmus.
Tau takes the free kick himself, but the wall does its job and it deflects away for a corner.
Tau has been influential in most of Bafana's attacks this half. This time he is fouled, providing an enticing position for a free kick.
Hlanti has plenty of time to find his man from the left but it proves merely catching practice for Zambia's 'keeper.
A dangerous ball is played over the South African defence, but Hlanti brings the ball down with a silky touch and shows composure to beat his man and calmly play it up field.
An extremely powerful drive from Malama is brilliantly saved by Ronwen Williams. That was going into the top corner.
Ngoma is played in behind by Tau and goes down in the box. He looked to be clipped but the referee waves away the appeals.
YELLOW CARD! Jali is cautioned for a rash challenge on Ngwenya.
Ngoma breaks down the left but his cross come shot screws wide of the target.
The Zimbabwean referee gets us underway for the second half of this friendly international. Ngwenya has an early shot but it doesn't trouble the 'keeper.
HALF TIME: SOUTH AFRICA 1-0 ZAMBIA
The whistle blows and that brings an end to the first half. South Africa go into the break one nil up after Manyama finished off a pinpoint cross from Erasmus.
Zambia are wasteful for the fourth time from a dead ball situation as the shot goes wide of Keet's goal.
Mundia, Shonga and Ngwenya are all subbed on for Nsofwa, Sikombe and Kampamba. A real show of dissatisfaction of the performance so far from the Zambian coaching staff.
Erasmus manages to stay on his feet after a would-be foul but he takes a shot whilst off balance and it fails to trouble Chibwe in goal.
Tau, again, shows he has quick feet and draws a foul. He dusts himself off but his delivery is extremely disappointing as it loops over everyone and out of play.
Erasmus is proving difficult to track for the Zambian centre backs. He receives a pass over the top and takes a decent first touch, but his second flies way over the bar.
Percy Tau jinks inside onto his left foot but his curled effort goes just wide.
YELLOW CARD! Malama comes flying in and completely takes Ngoma out. The referee has no hesitation in showing him the yellow card. Needless in a friendly game.
South Africa are looking very comfortable in defence. Keet has not had anything to do as of yet.
Manyama plays a delightful slide rule pass to Hlanti who had ghosted in behind the Zambian defence. His first touch shows too much of the ball to the defender and the chance goes begging.
GOAL, SOUTH AFRICA, MANYAMA! 1-0: Great movement by Erasmus allows Manyama to take up a central position. Erasmus' cross is expertly headed home by the Cape Town City man. That is his first goal for his country!
Shamujompa has a chance from a free kick but he can only smash his shot straight into the wall.
Mabunda unleashes a fierce effort from range but it arrows narrowly wide of the post.
The lanky Mwila manages to stretch his legs and round Gordinho toward the right corner. He crosses but it is overcooked and Bafana manage to regain possession.
