FULL-TIME: Bafana Bafana 1-2 Cape Verde.
Massively disappointing result for the home side as they now sit at the bottom of Group D.
72' Less than 20 minutes to go now as Bafana look to build any form of attack.
The crowd lets out a groan and Jali hits a stray pass.
66' Garry Rodrigues doubles the visitors' lead with a bending effort from just outside the box.
Bafana's World Cup dreams looks to be fading fast.

We can only hope for a better second 45 ... that was about as lame as I have ever seen from Bafana. Or have I missed some stinkers? HT 0-0.— Rob Houwing (@RobHouwing) September 5, 2017
We can only hope for a better second 45 ... that was about as lame as I have ever seen from Bafana. Or have I missed some stinkers? HT 0-0.
HALF TIME: Bafana Bafana 0-0 Cape Verde
The hosts dominated the first stanza but failing to make their superiority count by finding the back of the net.
41' Grobler with another effort on goal from an acute angle after doing well to turn inside the box.
Bafana piling on the pressure late in the first half.
FULL TIME: Bafana suffer a major setback to their World Cup dreams following their second 2-1 defeat to Cape Verde in a few days. An excellent brace from Rodrigues is the difference.
There will be four minutes of added time.
GOAL! South Africa pull one back Cape Verde fail to clear from the corner and Jali rifles one passed the unsighted 'keeper. Too little too late, surely. South Africa 1-2 Cape Verde.
Booking: Furman makes a tactical foul, stopping Pereira from a certain counter attack. That yellow means Furman will be suspended for Bafana's next game against Burkina Faso.
Substitution: Cape Verde stop the momentum by making another change as Mendes comes off.
Substitution: Pereira is booked for a crunching tackle on Rantie.
Just over 10 minutes to go in Durban and Bafana's World Cup dreams are fading quickly.
Substitution: Tau comes on for Kekana.
Substitution: Luis Soares is on for Julio Tavares.
Time is running out for Bafana, who have been stunned by a Rodrigues brace. The group's other match is now level at 1-1, which would've helped if South Africa were winning.
GOAL! It's another sensational strike, and it's Rodrigues again! The man is on absolute fire. Bafana gave him too much space and he made the most of it, rifling it passed Sandilands. South Africa 0-2 Cape Verde.
Substitution: Grobler, who just won a corner for Bafana, makes way for Jali.
Chance! Mendes misses a golden opportunity to double his side's lead. He does well to create space for himself in the box but skies his shot. Bafana remain in the game, just.
There's a break in play so a Cape Verde player can receive treatment on the field.
Booking: Kekana is cautioned.
Substitution: Manyana comes on to replace Zwane.
South Africa sit third in Group D, following last week's defeat in Cape Verde. Baxter's side will be out for revenge against the group's bottom side.
Meanwhile, Burkina Faso find themselves 1-0 up against Senegal in the group's other game.
Chance! Grobler gets a headed chance from close range, but once again, he can't convert.
GOAL! Scorcher! Thunderbolt! What an effort from Rodrigues' free-kick. That's gone through the wall and the swerve gave Sandilands no chance! South Africa 0-1 Cape Verde.
Chance! Rantie fires one from outside the area. He's gone for power and the ball fizzes passed Dias' top corner. Good effort.
Chance! Best chance of the match for the visitors, straight from kick off. They cut South Africa open, with Tavares shot going wide. It's almost turned in to the empty net at the back post but rolls out for a goal kick.
SECOND HALF: No changes from either side as the second period gets underway.
HALF TIME: Not the most enthralling affair in Durban, with neither side able to get on the scoresheet. Bafana held most of the possession and the best chances, but failed to significantly trouble Dias. Bafana 0-0 Cape Verde.
There will be two minutes of stoppage time at the end of the first half.
Mphalele looks to pick out Rantie at the bak post but his cross is poor, going out for a goal kick.
Chance! Neat football from Bafana, finding Grobler in the area. The striker turns his marker and shoots from the angle but his effort is well saved by Dias.
Chance! Soares with the header from Rodrigues' corner. Poor defending from Bafana, allowing the Cape Verde player to get a free chance. Luckily for the home side his effort is wide.
Chance! Kekana's free-kick is a decent one, grazing the top of the net. A bit lower and that could've been the first goal. Dias was left scrambling.
Booking: Tiago Almeida receives the first caution of the game for a foul on Rantie just outside the area. Kekana will take the free-kick.
Da Cruz is lucky to not get a yellow card after pushing Furman off the ball. Clear frustration from the Cape Verde midfielder, but the referee's missed that one.
Huge chance! Grobler gets on the end of a brilliant cross, he's completely unmarked but his header is extremely poor. No pace and straight at Dias. Should really be 1-0 to the home side.
Mendes is picked out in space on the near side in the box. He shoots but it's another tame one and straight down Sandilands' throat.
Chance! Mphahlele goes on a brilliant run down the right, weaving passed three Cape Verde defenders as he storms into the box. From the angle, he goes for the shot instead of crossing, but still wins a corner for his efforts.
Half a chance for Bafana. Zwane squares the ball for Kekana who has a wild strike from range. Not a pretty sight as it sails over the goal.
Things have slowed down somewhat in the last few minutes. The home side are keeping most of the ball but can't capitalise on their possession.
Excellent challenge from Gould in the penalty area to deny Cape Verde the lead. The visitors had a one-on-one opportunity before Gould slid in from behind. You won't see a better tackle than that all night.
Chance! A cross-come-shot from Cape Verde's right flank nearly catches Sandilands' out as it curls toward goal. Not sure it was intentional but the ball is just over.
Chance! What an effort from Soares. The Cape Verde captain goes for goal from a free kick despite being around 50 yards from goal! His low powerful strike is inches wide of Sandilands' goal.
Dias makes a good claim, plucking a cross from the right flank out from the sky. Two Bafana players were lurking, though the delivery into the box was a bit high.
Chance! Best of the game so far. Grobler tees it up for Rantie on the edge of the area and the striker really should have buried it! He snatched at it, hitting the ball into the ground and wide of goal.
It's Cape Verde's chance to have a long range effort. Da Druz's shot has some power behind it but is wide of Bafana's goal.
Chance! Hlatshwayo goes for the spectacular, shooting from distance but his rushed effort is someway away from goal. He has scored from the halfway line before, so it was worth a pop.
Pirates 'keeper Wayne Sandilands is sporting some black face paint, reminiscent of legendary Turkish goalie Rustu Recber.
First opportunity of the night goes Cape Verde's way. The ball falls at the edge of the area but Rocha can only hit his volley into the ground, making it an easy claim for Sandilands.
Referee Anitie has already blown for a couple of fouls as the match gets off to a slow start.
KICK OFF: We're underway here in Durban.
We're moments away from kick off here at the Moses Mabhida stadium. Cape Verde make three changes from Friday night's clash.

Bafana Bafana XI: Sandilands, Gould, Hlatshwayo, Hlanti, Mphahlele, Furman, Kekana, Zwane, Dolly, Grobler, Rantie.
South Africa will be hoping that the Group D leaders, Burkina Faso and Senegal, draw when they face each other in tonight's other match. Should that happen, and South Africa win, qualification would be in Bafana's own hands.
