Cape Town - Banyana Banyana claimed 10th spot at the 2019 Cyprus Women’s Cup after losing three games in the tournament, and drawing one.

Head coach Desiree Ellis says a lot of lessons have been learnt as they prepare for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place in France in June.

Banyana Banyana’s next assignment is next month (7 April) against Jamaica in Durban, a clash that also doubles as a farewell match for the World Cup-bound squad.

The squad returns home on Friday, March 8 and is expected to land at 11:00.
