Late Bafana COSAFA Cup blow as Dolly ruled out

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana have suffered an 11th-hour injury setback with confirmation that star midfielder Keagan Dolly has been forced to withdraw from the COSAFA Cup.

According to reports, Dolly sustained an injury during practice on Friday.

Dolly, who plays his football for French club Montpellier, was using the tournament to work on his fitness ahead of the upcoming all-important Africa Cup of Nations.

Mamelodi Sundowns winger Keletso Makgalwa has been called up to replace Dolly.

Bafana will play Botswana in the quarter-finals of the COSAFA Cup at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
