Cape Town - SuperSport United and Bafana Bafana striker Bradley Grobler believes that the national team can qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
Bafana started their campaign in superb fashion with an away victory over Nigeria, however, the recent 0-0 draw with Libya at Moses Mabhida Stadium has seemingly damaged confidence in the ranks.
With that said, Stuart Baxter's men next face Seychelles home and away in Group E with the East African archipelago the whipping boys in the bracket.
As such, it is expected that the side will demolish Seychelles over the two matches and collect a much needed six points to keep pace with leaders Libya.
Meanwhile, the Mediterranean Knights face the Super Eagles over two clashes in what could be some decisive results in terms of the outcome.
Grobler told KickOff website: “It's been a difficult period for the national team and it's not really getting easier.
“The game against Libya was frustrating and it was a tougher game than what people really gave Libya credit for.
“They are a good team and they really gave us a tough time. A lot of people underestimate African teams and some of the smaller teams. For me there are no longer smaller teams in Africa.
“If you look at some of the results, it's interesting. There's a long way to qualify and we know what to do."
