Cape Town - Dean Furman and Andile Jali sat out during Bafana Bafana’s impressive 6-1 victory over Limpopo’s ABC Motsepe League log leaders, Molemole Academy FC, in a practice match played at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The midfielder duo are nursing a bruised rib and thigh muscle strain respectively but Bafana Bafana team Doctor, Thulani Ngwenya, is not worried about the injury two's setbacks.
According to the official SAFA website, Tebogo Langerman and goalkeeper Ronwen Williams are also being monitored.
Dr Ngwenya said the injuries were nothing to worry about and the players are expected to be fully fit for Saturday’s crunch match with Senegal.
Bafana Bafana take on Senegal in a 2018 Soccer World Cup clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday in hope of claiming maximum points.
The game kicks off at 15:00.
