Cameroon, Bafana draw AFCON qualifier

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana were held to a 2-2 draw by Cameroon in their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.

As it happened: Cameroon v Bafana Bafana

Tokelo Rantie opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Sebastien Siani brought the hosts level with a cracker on the stroke of half-time.

The Bournemouth striker, who was put through by Andile Jali, rounded the 'keeper to put the visitors ahead.

Hlompho Kekana's wonder goal restored the lead for South Africa five minutes into the second half. The Mamelodi Sundowns' midfielder caught the 'keeper off guard with a long range strike from his own half.

Cameroon found an equaliser again through defender Nicolas Nkoulou, who beat Itumeleng Khune with a header from a set piece.

Bafana remain without a win after three matches having lost to Mauritania and drawn with Gambia.

Shakes Mashaba's charges will host Cameroon on Tuesday in Durban.
