Baxter names Bafana replacements for injured duo

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana head coach Stuart Baxter has called up two new players as late replacements for the inured duo of Thapelo Morena and Vincent Pule.

Cape Town City defender Thamsanqa Mkhize has been called up as cover for the injured Morena while Orlando Pirates attacker  Thembinkosi Lorch replaces Vincent Pule.

Morena pulled up with an injury in the pre-match warm-up just before his side's Absa Premiership clash against Bidvest Wits on Sunday.

Baxter had revealed to journalists that both players were to undergo scan to reveal the extent of their injuries with both players now confirmed to be ruled out.

Bafana Bafana welcome Seychelles to the FNB Stadium on October 13 before a return-leg on October 16.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
