Bafana ran out winners thanks to Grobler and winger Vincent Pule who received a call-up to the squad after late injury withdrawals.

Stuart Baxter's side sit second in Group E on three points trailing leaders Libya by an inferior goal difference in their quest to qualify for AFCON 2019 after one round of matches.

Bafana face Libya in a key qualifier at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday after an impressive away win over Nigeria in their first match.

After the match Baxter said he was happy with his side's display and that they perform better when playing in a certain style that suits the team.

Meanwhile, a frustrated Baxter questionedthe South Africa Football Association (SAFA)'s decision to host the sea-level Libya in Durban.

SAFA's decision to not host Saturday's fixture at altitude is believed to be due to financial constraints.

"I've always enjoyed playing in Durban - until Cape Verde‚ I suppose‚" Baxter told journalists.

"But the venue‚ as a sea-level venue for sea-level people‚ I suppose you would want to take them to altitude.

"I was told that was impossible.
