Agent: Furman returning to UK but still eligible for Bafana selection

Cape Town - Dean Furman's agent has confirmed that the Bafana Bafana midfielder will be leaving SuperSport United to return to the UK, but will still be eligible for international selection.

Furman's contract expires in June and the 31-year-old won't be staying in the PSL and is looking for a club in English football, having played at Bradford and Doncaster Rovers previously.

“Dean is going back to the UK at the end of the season. That is confirmed,” Furman's agent Glynn Binkin told IOL.

“Why should he retire from international duty? He is not going to retire from the national team. He is still available for selection and will be available even next season.

“We will sit down at the end of the season and see what options we have.”

Furman has represented Bafana at three Africa Cup of Nations.
