Uzoenyi: Bafana will struggle

Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns forward Ejike Uzoenyi admits that Bafana Bafana will find it hard to overcome Nigeria.

According to KickOff, the 26-year-old reckons that The Eagles are coming to beat South Africa in their own back yard.

“We are the best and you can’t take that away from us, we are the best in Africa. We have unbelievable players who can do crazy things with the ball,” said the Nigerian international.

“As a Nigerian I wish my country to win, but I also wish South Africa all the best.”

Uzoenyi was part of Nigeria’s World Cup squad but failed to make the cut for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.

Nigeria take on Congo in Calabar on September 6 at 18:00 SA time before their trip to South Africa.

Bafana will take on Sudan in Khartoum on Friday, September 5 at 19:00 SA time, before hosting Nigeria on Wednesday, September 10 (20:00) at the Cape Town Stadium in their first two 2015 AFCON qualifiers.
