Swaziland tie excites Zungu

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana midfielder Bongani Zungu admits that he is looking forward to the Swaziland encounter.

According to KickOff, Zungu says that scoring against Swaziland last year and reminisces on the feeling after securing the win as well.

“I scored a very important goal in my career and it felt very good to score for the country,” said Zungu.

“Yes, I want to score against them again. If given an opportunity I will do my best to put the ball in the back of the net."

The only Mamelodi Sundowns player in the Bafana Bafana squad, Zungu reveals that he is elated with being selected and having caught the eye of Shakes Mashaba.

“I'm happy that I was able to catch the eye of the national team coach and I'm very proud of myself. I'm always grateful for the opportunity and it is always an honour to play for Bafana in any match.”

Bafana Bafana and Swaziland are set to play on Wednesday, March 25 with the kick-off scheduled for 19:00.
