Six subs for Bafana v Norway

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana and Norway will be allowed to play six substitutes in their friendly international at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday night, South Africa coach Gordon Igesund confirmed.

Kick-off is at 20:15.

This is standard practice now for all international matches and means the match result will count towards the FIFA rankings.

Some of the recent Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) warm-up matches, however, have seen sides make wholesale changes, like Zambia, who played an entirely new line-up in the second half on Sunday when they were beaten 2-0 by Angola at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.

Bafana will play their final warm-up match against Algeria at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 18:00), ahead of the start of the 2013 AFCON on January 19.
