Cape Town - Shakes Mashaba insisted that Bafana Bafana still lack finishing in front of goal and it is something he will address in future.

Bafana Bafana came to salvage a 1-1 draw against Nigeria at the Mbombela Stadium courtesy of a late Bongani Zungu equaliser.

However, South Africa had several chances to secure only their second victory over the Super Eagles but the players squandered each chance and it is something Mashaba rues.

“We were supposed to have walked this game,” said Mashaba as quoted by KickOff.

“Our plan was to build up from the back, because somehow I expected them to come and play negatively.

“They were happy with the draw and you could see it by the way they played, they were happy to park at the back.

“When we took the game to them, just having that little bit of mobility in the open spaces, we came out strong; the only thing we still need to address is finishing," adds Mashaba.
