Cape Town - Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba was satisfied with his side's comfortable 3-1 victory over Swaziland.

According to KickOff, the 64-year-old bemoans the silly mistake South Africa’s defence as Swaziland put a goal pass Itumeleng Khune.

“The goal [Swaziland] scored; my defence have got to be punished for that. It was more of a soft goal as well; we should have defended that ball,” said Mashaba.

The defensive error did not hinder the rest of Bafana Bafana’s performance as they rattled the net on three occasions.

“But the boys' performance as well; they did very well,” said Mashaba.

“Unfortunately with the national teams, you get players for two days and the third day you’re playing.

“You don’t have time to solve the problems and, until that has been sorted out, I think we will see better football in the national team.”

Bafana's next encounter is against Nigeria on Sunday, March 29 at the Mbombela Stadium.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
